David Simon is a relatively new member, having joined Delta Nats in October 2023. He is a retired lawyer who has been taking nature photos since he received his first SLR on his 13th birthday.
He has taken many trips to enjoy and photograph nature – to Tanzania, Vietnam, India, the Galapagos and parts of Ecuador, the Brazilian Pantanal, Uganda and most recently Cambodia, the subject of his May 6 presentation.
I moved to the beautiful Boundary Bay area in June 2024 after retiring from a 35-year career in the airline industry. My travels around the world during my career ignited a deep appreciation for nature, which I now express through my passion for nature photography.
In addition to photography, I’ve been designing posters for various clubs for many years. Whether it’s through creative design or lending a helping hand, I’m always eager to assist wherever I can.
Outside of my creative pursuits, I also enjoy martial arts, music, and exploring new places with my husband.
