Tsawwassen Causeway A cool and overcast yet rainless day is perfect for birding, and the proof was in the shorebirds we saw tucked away into the grassy mudflats next to Tsawwassen Causeway. DNCB Outing No. 2021-30B to Blackie Spit on July 28, 2021
A group of 7 met at 8:00 – they were David and Noreen, Warren and Lynn, Roger2, Mike B2, and Marion S. The spit area was very quiet except for the usual Ring-billed Gulls accompanied by a singular California Gull, Savannah sparrows,and a juvenile Brown-headed Cowbird, plus several harbour seals kept an eye on us

DNCB Outing No. 2019-27 to Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, TFN Boardwalk, and Reifel Bird Sanctuary
Thirty-one folk participated in some or all of our Wednesday morning outing to the Tsawwassen Ferry terminal, then the Tsawwassen First Nations (TFN) boardwalk, then at Reifel Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island. Twenty-three (wow) DNCBers enjoyed a walk on the mud and the path at the 104th St. entrance to the Boundary Bay dike path. DNCB Birds on the Bay Outing No. 2014-36 in Boundary Bay Regional Park
