Delta Naturalists Outing to Point Roberts, April 2, 2024
PHOTO: American Kestrels by Pat Smart….. 13 Delta Naturalists met at Lighthouse Marine Park in Point Roberts, USA. Close to shore were Common Loons and Horned Grebes – some still in colourful breeding plumage. DNCB Outing No. 2023-13A to Deas Island Regional Park, March 28, 2023
Fourteen birders met at Deas Island Regional park on a glorious spring morning – Terry, Grant, Bob, Dottie, Lidia, John, Lorna, Jacquie, Mike, Roger, Jim, Lee, Chris P and Lori. In the slough were Bufflehead, Mallards, Common Goldeneye and American Wigeon. A juvenile Bald Eagle looked down from a high perch and others flew overhead.

DNCB Outing No. 2023-08B to Tsawwassen Ferry Causeway & Reifel, February 22, 2023
Six hearty souls started at the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal lookout at 08:00 (David, Noreen, Jonathan, Lorraine, Anne and Glen) where it was f-f-f-freezing and the tide was high.
