DNCB Outing No. 2021-49B to Point Roberts, USA, December 8, 2021
An exciting trip for most of us. It is nearly two years since we have ventured into Point Roberts. Ten Casual Birders took the plunge with the border crossing and rediscovered Point Roberts. The ten were Brian and Louise, Chris, Glen, Colin and Stephanie, Lori and Hasan, Thea and Rosemary. The border entry was fine.

DNCB Outing No. 2021-47A to Brunswick Point & North 40/VWS, November 23, 2021
Twelve people met at Brunswick Point on Tuesday. It was clear but cold, and very windy with whitecaps on the river. The wind kept most birds hidden, but we did have some good sightings. DNCB Outing No. 2021-41A to Ladner Harbour Park and Boundary Bay Dyke at 104th, October 12, 2021
We met at Ladner Harbour Park at 8am on a cool, dry morning. Roger saw a Pied-billed Grebe by the bridge before the parking lot. Our walk began along the recently completed Shirley’s Path with its impressive new bridge; then continued along the usual loop through the trees to the river and the viewing platform.

The Tuesday people were lucky with the weather. Despite a wet forecast, the rain stopped before 7am. It was windy and cold when 5 of us met on the Tsawwassen ferry causeway at 7:45. But the wind had died down and the sky was clearing when 14 met at the Reifel Bird Sanctuary at 9am.
