DNCB Outing No. 2013-14 to Iona Regional Park
Six DNCB weirdoes (PB Lorna, Kay, Bryan & Janet, Donna and me) spent Wednesday morning in the pouring rain at Iona Regional Park. DNCB Outing No. 2012-33 to Iona RP
Eleven birders (Anne M, Jane Z, Lorna C, Marion S, Bryan without Janet, Gerhard L, Richmond’s Donna T & Alan P, newbie Jackie D, Mike B and me) enjoyed a gorgeous Summer morning wandering around Iona Regional Park. Hi-lites included: Killdeer family, Spotted Sandpipers and other Shorebirds, and Marion’s Banana bread and Jane’s fresh Okanagan

DNCB Outing No. 2012-8: Fraser River From #5 Road to Garry Point
Meeting at Petra’s were Gerhard, Lorna, Hans and friend Derek from Calgary, Mike, Roger, and Terry, recently returned from his Florida holiday. Leaving at 8:00am to meet the others in Richmond, valuable minutes were lost on a detour due to someone, who shall remain nameless, having forgot to bring his binoculars (on a birding trip??).
