Kristine Kirkby is originally from Aurora, Ontario, and relocated to Vancouver, B.C. in 2012. She has a BSc in Wildlife Biology and a MSc in Environmental Practice. She has dedicated most of her career to raptor research and conservation, and is currently managing the raptor trapping and translocation program at Vancouver International Airport.
