Belted Kingfisher at Kingfisher Bridge Nine birders (Val, Don & Rochelle, John & Kay, Hans-Ulf, Roger, Terry) joined me on Monday morning on an outing via the Tsawwassen First Nations Reserve and South Ladner farmers’ fields to Alaksen NWA. First winter Birds on the Bay outing
A dozen brave souls, including several rookies, joined me this morning in the rain on Delta Nats first Winter “Birds on the Bay” Casual Birding outing at Boundary Bay Park in Tsawwassen. At the park entrance at the foot of 12th Avenue, we watched the Canada Geese, Great Blue Herons and dabbling ducks (e.g. Northern Pintail, Green-winged Teal, Mallards, etc) foraging.
