Christmas Eve birding – Casual Birders outing #68
Terry, John & Kay and I spent Christmas Eve morning at Tsatsu Shores and around the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal. It was a beautiful sunny, clear and relatively mild morning, and the tide was high. We parked near the Tsatsu Condo and tried to walk to the beach over the logs, but the water was too

Hans-Ulf, John and Kay and I enjoyed a pleasant, but chilly Monday morning travelling all along the Boundary Bay dyke from 104th down to 64th Street. Near the airport, approaching the entrance to the sewage plant were a couple hundred Snow Geese (many juveniles) very near the shore.

The tide was in so there were lots (thousands) of ducks to see, up-close-and-personal. Near the park entrance at 12th Avenue, we saw

Tom’s Report on Casual Birding outing #60
We were seven today (Valerie, Anne, Don & Rochelle, John sans Kay, Hans-Ulf and me) on a rainy morning, but it turned warmer and dryer as the morning progressed. Our first stop was Kings Links Golf Course (where I “work”) on 72nd Street at the Bay. The ponds did not have a large number of
